Moon Phase Post Earrings

Handmade in my little home studio in the mountains of Western North Carolina.

Hand fabricated earrings constructed to look like little moons, made entirely out of sterling silver including posts and backs.

The face of these earrings were created using a method called reticulation. Reticulation, which is somewhat unpredictable, is a process in which a torch is used to heat scar silver.

These earrings have a standard earring post positioned behind the crescent moon. They are designed to slightly climb the ear.

Finished with a patina and soft polish to bring out the moon texture.

I solder, saw, file, stamp, fabricate, set all stones, form, patinate, and finish all my jewelry completely by hand using reclaimed and recycled Sterling Silver from certified ethically mined metal within the US.
