Full Moon Hollow Form Reticulated Pendants

Handmade in my little home studio in the mountains of Western North Carolina.

Hand fabricated hollow form pendants constructed to look like little moons.

Unlike other pendants, these require no bails, and are designed similar to a bead. They freely move along the chain as the chain is threaded through the hollow form of the pendant.

The face of these pendants were created using a method called reticulation. Reticulation, which is somewhat unpredictable, is a process in which a torch is used to heat scar silver.

Finished with a patina and soft polish to bring out the moon's texture. Hangs from a sterling silver chain.

The larger of the two moons measures approximately 20.6mm and the smaller moon measures approximately 17mm. A standard penny measures over 19mm.

I solder, saw, file, stamp, fabricate, set all stones, form, patinate, and finish all my jewelry completely by hand using reclaimed and recycled Sterling Silver from certified ethically mined metal within the US.

An 18" chain will be the standard chain length provided to those who do not include chain length preferences.
